Description
The first 2 days will introduce the basic concepts for CCTV systems to the participants. The focus is on laying a foundation of knowledge on current and future TV standards, CCTV system definitions, and analog video equipment like cameras, lenses, keyboards. A large part of the course is dedicated to explaining camera and lens concepts, selecting the right combinations for a given CCTV application, setting up and installing the camera.
Other important topics of this course are video transmission over different media and troubleshooting of CCTV systems. The course is a mix of background knowledge lectures, theoretical and practical product training on the latest UTC cameras and transmission video hardware, and exercises for calculating various relevant parameters required for selecting the right product for a given CCTV requirement.
The following 2 days will introduce digital video systems for CCTV to the participants. It features a mix of background knowledge lectures, theoretical and practical product training on the latest UTC digital video hardware like digital video recorders, IP cameras, and network video recorders. This is completed with product line overviews and trouble-shooting exercises.
