Description
The Picture Perfect Certification focuses on the Picture Perfect Access Control system. From this course the technician will learn how to configure all aspects of the database and administer the Standalone system.
The course involves a high degree of hands-on practical work, with one server used by each pair of students. Students will participate in guided scenarios and mentored role-plays.
Student will receive a demo license valid for two months to be used with 32 readers and two imaging terminals. This demo license is included in the course charges. Student will receive a copy of image of the virtual server machine he was working on so he can continue learning at home for as long as the demo license will allow.

Prerequisites
- A minimum of 2 years working with access control systems
- Intermediate understanding of desktop computing and operating systems
- Intermediate understanding of servers, server operating systems and networking
- Familiarity with SQL, Unix operating systems (preferably Linux)
- UTC Fire & Security Picture Perfect authorized Business Partner
- For End Users (and others), sponsorship by a UTC Fire & Security authorized Business Partner
Course Objectives
- Describe the Picture Perfect system's architecture, functionality, hardware/software requirements, and system's capacity
- Install and configure the Micro-5 controller and its related hardware
- Backup an existing Picture Perfect system and its SQL Reports, archive systems history, and upgrade Micro firmware
- Install and configure the Picture Perfect access control system
- Test and verify the Picture Perfect system
- Describe the feature and functions of the Picture Perfect systems interface
- Configure and administer the Picture Perfect system
- Generate and archive reports
- Perform system backups
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course you are awarded Product Certification for the Picture Perfect system. The certification is valid for the life of the product or until a major product revision. Upon major product revision you are eligible to participate in the re-certification program. For technicians certified on Picture Perfect 4.x, your certification currently remains valid however for versions 2.0 and prior , technicians are required to attend this workshop to maintain / achieve certification.
